Artifacts
The Artifacts area provides a compact but technically useful view of the artifacts and iFlows known to a configuration. It is especially important for analysis, validation, and impact checks around SAP CPI artifacts.
It mainly helps users to:
- view runtime and design artifacts in one place
- quickly assess packages, versions, and deployment states
- inspect artifact details directly in the expanded row
- use metadata, where-used information, and hash values for technical analysis
Structure
- Artifact fields and analysis options
- Using artifacts in operations
- Reference for deployment, hashes, and dependency checks
- Troubleshooting common artifact inventory issues
Typical use cases
- checking whether an iFlow is deployed and available in the expected version
- understanding where an artifact is used
- analyzing differences between metadata hash and content hash
- evaluating technical dependencies before making changes
Help inside the product
Like the other major modules, this area provides two help layers:
- small inline help on important fields and columns
- larger long-form documentation via the book icon in the header
